Technology of printing

LABEL design a.s. is the sole company active in our market to offer the most extensive printing technologies and their combinations. Our production-supporting background is ready to implement in reality even the most complex idea of your commercial artist. We will be pleased to recommend a suitable combination of technologies that will strike the correct balance between the price and the resulting effect. So that you can get an idea of our potential, we would like to submit for your attention a number of examples demonstrating our previous results.

UV offset
The top quality printing of the most complex graphic labels with a photo, fine transition screen or minute negative characters. It can be combined with screen printing, hot imprinting, second printing or printing in glue.

UV Letterpress
The advantages of this technology are fuller and brighter colour shades. We combine this technology in our company with screen printing, UV flexo-graphic printing, second printing or printing in glue – to summarise the options – in cases of a more complex label design, including sandwich & booklet types.

UV Flexo
It is the most extensively used way of printing self-adhesive labels, which finds very broad use. It is a commonplace practice to print labels and thermo-labels of one-colour to six-colour execution. One disadvantage of the technology is a coarser printing screen. Thus for cases in which the graphics requires fineness of execution, we recommend the application of offset printing.

UV screen printing
This technology makes it possible to apply a thick layer of paint and a perfect register of colours. The print is brilliant and can show relief effects. Mostly it is used in combination with other technologies. For cases of printing on transparent materials this technology is applied for printing the covering white paint.

Hot stamping
It will give the appearance of exclusivity to labels. Again, it is mostly applied in combinations with classical printing. The imprinting foils include not only gold and silver, but also coloured or holographic versions.

Relief embossing

It is formed as the result of pushing the material through a template. This element is suitable as a tool for graphic highlighting.

Numbering
Personification of products is carried out as the finishing operation, by applying the technology of ink-jet or thermo-transfer printing..
