Thermo-labels

They are printed on a heat-sensitive material that is necessary for subsequent additional printing by the customer. The equipment used for additional printing is mostly either a thermo-balance or a thermo-printer or a combination with a labelling line.

Blank, not printed thermo-labels or simple, 1-2 colour thermo-labels are produced using a matt material. This type is nowadays only a complementary thermo-label to the main graphic label of the product. This material is not additionally treated by lacquering.

Glazed paper is in use for lacquered labels, mostly multi-colour printed ones. In cases where earlier a single-colour label with texts would be sufficient, it has become a commonplace practice to use even exclusive graphics.
